In a bid to expand its global presence in the world of online gaming, the industry’s leading gaming software developer started a process to acquire the Vegas based Zen Entertainment Inc. It was announced recently that NYX Gaming Group has completed its acquisition of the social gaming entity, which will complement the group’s lottery, bingo and casino products and help take NYX Gaming further into the industry.
NYX Gaming, which is based in Las Vegas and develops its products from offices in Stockholm and Sydney, already has a strong global presence across multiple continents, including Europe, North America, Australia and Asia. Its suite includes products on platforms that incorporate online, mobile and social games, appealing to players across the board.
Zen Entertainment, which mainly develops poker software for the social gaming environment, has paid out millions in rewards. Zen’s staff have been incorporated into the business and they will join NYX Gaming Group’s Social Gaming Division which employs the best technical minds in the business.
Speaking about the finalization of the acquisition deal was Matt Davey, the Chief Executive Officer of NYX Gaming Group who said that he was delighted to ensure the acquisition of Zen Entertainment. He called it a “transaction that supports the expansion of the group business into the emerging online gaming markets within North America.”
The CEO was optimistic and upbeat about the prospects for NYX Gaming Group, which now includes Zen Entertainment, over the coming months. He said that he was excited about the rapid growth that the group has experienced to date.

One of the most notable brands that are connected to NYX Gaming Group is its game development arm, NextGen Gaming which provides immersive and highly entertaining slots.
